1. Acceptance of these Terms
My Home Quote ("the Company," "we," "us," "our") provides free, non-binding home-service
estimate ranges and assessments for roofing, heating & cooling (HVAC), plumbing, and
water testing/treatment, and connects homeowners with a licensed local contractor. We are a marketing and
customer-connection service — we do not perform the work and are not a party to any agreement you
make with a contractor. By accessing or using this site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use
the site.
2. Service provided "as is"; no warranties
Any range, recommendation, or result shown is a preliminary estimate or assessment based on your answers,
not a final price or a guarantee. The site and everything on it are provided "as is" and "as
available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
Actual pricing, scope, licensing, and workmanship are determined solely by the contractor you engage; we make no
warranty about any contractor's work, licensing, pricing, availability, or results, and we do not guarantee that any
contractor will contact you or accept your project.
3. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, My Home Quote is not liable for any contractor's acts,
omissions, workmanship, or agreements, or for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising
from your use of this site or any contractor connection.
4. Text messages and calls (consent)
By providing your phone number and checking the consent box on our form, you agree that My Home Quote
and one licensed local contractor matched to your project may contact you at that number and email —
including by autodialed and prerecorded/automated calls and text messages — about your requested
service and scheduling related to it. This is a recurring program and
message frequency varies. Consent is not a condition of any purchase.
Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or
HELP for help. This section is consistent with the consent disclosure shown on our forms
(version mhq-2026-07); see our Privacy Policy for how we handle your information.
5. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, without regard to conflict-of-laws
principles, except where the mandatory consumer-protection law of your home state applies.
