This website is operated by My Home Quote ("the Company," "we," "us," "our"). My Home Quote provides free home-service estimates and assessments for roofing, heating & cooling (HVAC), plumbing, and water testing/treatment, and connects homeowners with a licensed local contractor. This policy explains what we collect, why, and how we share it.
What we collect
When you complete one of our estimate or assessment forms, we collect the information you provide: your name, phone number, email address, home street address and ZIP code, and your answers about your project (for example, roof age and material, heating/cooling system age, plumbing issue, water concern such as hardness/taste/odor, and project timeline). We automatically collect your IP address, the page URL, a timestamp, and standard device and analytics data, and we record your consent choices, including the exact consent text shown to you and its version.
Why we collect it
To generate the free preliminary estimate or assessment you requested, to connect you with one or more licensed contractors and home-service providers who can help with the service you asked about, and to operate, promote, and improve our services and those of our partners.
How we share it
When you submit an estimate or assessment request, you authorize us to share, sell, license, and otherwise disclose the information you provide — and information we collect or derive about your project and property to licensed contractors, home-service providers, and our marketing, advertising, data, and technology partners and service providers, so they can contact you about, provide, promote, and improve home-services offerings. We may share this information with one or more such contractors, providers, or partners, on an exclusive or non-exclusive basis, and we are compensated by them for connecting them with homeowners. Our service providers include, for example, our CRM and messaging platform (HighLevel), telephony (Twilio), property-data enrichment (BatchData and, for roofing, RoofTap), consent-record certification (eConsent), and analytics and advertising platforms (for example, Meta). We may also disclose information as required by law or to protect our rights. You can limit or opt out of certain sharing as described in "Your choices and rights" below.
Messaging and consent
We and the matched contractor contact you only because you checked a consent box authorizing calls and texts (including by automated technology) about your requested service. Consent is not a condition of any purchase. You can opt out at any time — reply STOP to any text, or ask to be removed on any call. Message and data rates may apply. Messaging frequency varies based on your request.
Your choices and rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your information, and you may opt out of marketing contact, by emailing [email protected]. We honor STOP and do-not-contact requests promptly.
State privacy rights. My Home Quote operates in multiple states. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights over your personal information — including the right to know, access, correct, delete, and opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information or targeted advertising. We honor verifiable requests under applicable state privacy laws; to exercise these rights, email the address above.
Data retention and security
We keep your information as long as needed to provide the service and to meet legal and record-keeping obligations (including consent records), then delete or de-identify it. We use reasonable safeguards to protect it.
Children
This service is intended for homeowners 18 and older and is not directed to children.
